my son is 7 and just finished his 3rd yr of folkstyle. he is doing freestyle this yr and has had 2 practices so far. it is a bit confusing for him with the moves that have him rolling thru his back and locking hands so much. still undecided if it will cause confusion for him trying to do things that he has been told not to do for the last 3 three yrs. we will be playing it by ear, hope he can pick it up and gain some useful techniques from it. guess we will see.
