Moeder hit the nail on the head when he said to do our best to take our best kids. I don't want to for a minute take anything away from any kids that went along this weekend, but we also left some darn good kids at home that should have been there to make us stronger.
It was cool to see our kids winning a lot of the tight matches. A testament to our kids' toughness.
And something that will also help Kansas improve is guys like Eric Luedke, Aeron Hill, and James Fox helping out like they did. Here are some broke college kids offering to lead the charge without asking for anything in return. The kids look up to people like that and dig a little deeper to try to impress them.
My only advice for next year to to stay out of that casino.
Thanks to all that put this huge event together. I belive Iowa and Ohio were the only other states that put more teams in it than Kansas. Correct me if I am wrong.
