You can wrestle kids club during the high school season if you are not on the high school team.

The problem is that there will not be much if any competition. That age group generally wrestles high school, and gets great mat time and competition weather it is J.V. or V.

we had a home schooled kid that did that. He placed 4th at kids state and lost to a highschool state champion. The problem was that highschool champion had probably around 25 more matches on him during the season. That experience cost him a little bit. It showed in the conditioning fact and the overall technique part. Its hard to wrestle kids and not highschool.

I just came back from middle school duals and i thought about that.
because im not very good and i need to learn move moves.
And i thought i would probably be j.v. so what would be the point in high school.

Even if you are JV, you will have the benefit of practice 5 days a week with high school coaches and high school practice partners. You will definately benefit from wrestling high school.

Beeson he is being sincere,I know the kid."Zed" the only legitimate reason for you not to wrestle for the high school next year would be if you were taking 8th grade over again, and I doubt that because I know your a smart kid.You will benefit tremendously from high school coaches and practice partners, not to mention you can still come back to kids club after the high school season is over.

This is probably a subject for the high school board. That link went to the KSHSAA front page and not the rules. Are you saying that a school is prohibitted from banning homeschooled kids from their athletic programs? I would have a big problem if my school allowed homeschooled kids to participate. I am big on inclusion, but you have to include yourself or child for that to happen, in my opinion.
