I would guess that in 10&under that Aaron Seybold (64) and the Desazher brothers (64,67) will be the ones to beat from Kansas.

Who will will you be bringing from OK at these weights?

I'm not sure exactly what weights the kids have entered at but in 10u I think Shane Thomas, Chase Fermann & Davey Dolan will be in those weights and in 12u Ben Morgan, Jeremy Davenport, Dylan Haynes, Philip Dolan and Ryan Rosales could all be around those weights.

I'm not sure what he signed up at. But, you're right, he's tough. I love to watch him wrestle.

Yes that is that same Shane Thomas. He and Daniel Deshazer have battled for years. To knowledge it was the first time Daniel ever beat him. Shane has won Tulsa, etc as has Davey and others on the TWC team. All of the gang listed is tough. TWC from Broken Arrow is a fine team and they also have Gary Wayne Harding who wrestles 8u or 10u 61 with equal success, that might come and some others. The one big difference this year is that there will probably not be any Texas kids in Salina because that is the weekend of their state tournament.

Zach Tanenbaum at 10 and under 67 will be at wichitah. Im sure Levi Floorshietz will be at 70 as well as Zach Athcison and Jamon Cotton might be 67.

Should be some interesting match ups in 10 and under at these weights. 61-70lbs.

U. Desazher
D. Desazher
J. Cotton
A. Seybold
S. Thomas
B. Pursel
D. Dolan
C. Ferman
B. Pursel
T. Dryden
B. Koehn
Z. Tanenbaum
A. Engels
T. Engels
C. Locke
T. Moeder
K. Biddle
S. Seaton
C. Duhr
A. Bontz

Don't know if they are all going or what weight these kids will all be at but they are all pretty tough.

I have heard a rumor that the Desazher boys are dropping to 64lbs.(Daniel) and 61lbs.(Ulyses)for state. Don't know about the classic.

I believe Gary Wayne is in 8 and under but wrestles at 10 and under for more competetion.

There will be alot of good matches in that group, i hope that they end up with good refs. I wish that there would be 2 refs to a match all thru state. I have seen alot of very questionable calls this year between very close matches. there were alot of problems on a couple of the mats in Salina

64 and 67 will be some fun brackets. We're taking Taylor to Denver so will miss out on Wichita. I'd look for a great finals match at 67 with D. Deshazer and S. Thomas. Daniel will be pumped up to win his "home tournament" and Shane will be looking to make up for the loss at Salina so it should be interesting. Not sure about the "rumor" of Deshazer's dropping weights and don't know why they would need to. Daniels beat Taylor each time they've wrestled. We've gotten closer (overtime last year at state and 2-1 this year at Tulsa), but I would say he'd feel pretty comfortable in winning state at 67 and not having to worry about cutting to 64 for 3 weeks. Dolan gets my pick at 64, and I'll say......Engels at 70.
