In two weeks the Kids Executive Council will meet in Salina for a two day meeting. With many important topics on the agenda none is more important than the selections of the people that will represent you for the up coming year.
I know for a sure that Jeff Sheets is not running again for Kids Director, and I am not running again for the Asst, Kids Director. There are also 3 other elected postitions, Parliamentarian, Treasurer, and State Freestyle/Greco Director, but I can not speak for them if they are seeking relection. There are also two appointed spots as well as many district jobs as well, that are voted on each year.
For the past 10 plus years I have read many posts from a lot of you. Here is your chance to get involved, talk with your district director or another memeber of the Kids Council if you want to get involved and help make a difference. Tell them to nominate you for one these important postitions
How nice would it be to have a lively debate over officers for the upcoming year instead of coaches passes for the state tournament.
I have enjoyed the past five years on the council and I hope to enjoy a few more.
