Do you know of any school that might change?

Nah... just rumors.

I have the numbers from the Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League and it looks like there could be some shifting there. Here at Andover Central we have grown above Valley Center. Good possiblilty we could swap. Wait until Monday and see, I guess. I wouldn't know how to act at a one day Regional.

I have heard the AC rumor as well. Sumner Academy was the smallest 5a last year some 35 student smaller than Valley Center. If AC moves up Valley Center would have to be smaller than Sumner Academy and Pittsburg to move down. They were both smaller than Valley Center last year and in non growth areas.

I guess we will see on Monday!

I believe the 2008-2009 classifications are published by KSHSAA.

Caney Valley - 4A from 3A.
Wichita Independent - 4A from 3A.
Scott City - 4A from 3A.
Goodland - 321A from 4A.
Marysville - 321A from 4A.
Burlington - 321A from 4A.

Any others?

When are regional assignments going to be announced? Wednesday?

It is usually the Monday after our first tourney, so I'm thinking somewhere around Dec. 7 or 8.
