Brandon Vukas from DeSoto will be making some noise at 152... My darkhorse prediction!

2nd semester Mancuso from SJA at 103 will be a SQ and probable SP, jmo.

Sparr finished ahead of Slyter and Weller (with a win over Slyter) at the State Tournament last year. Finishing 2nd at 119 would put him ahead of Seatons 3rd place finish at 112 I would Think. I believe Seaton lost to Slyter earlier in the season to give Sparr another edge in ranking.

In my opinion...

As a general rule, the State brackets are the best yardstick to apply to the rankings. There are cases, i.e. Furches and Slyter, where the Junior Duals, Fargo and other post HS season events elevate certain wrestlers to a higher ranking. The national publications and college recruiting results show the same effect. Sparr's payoff was on the State podium. Slyter's payoff is in the ranking and interest from college coaches.
