I watched some very good wrestlers compete in these weights at state last year and I am curious how many will be moving up to 10U this season and how many will remain at 8U.

Most of them moved up to 10u. Are there any certain boys your looking for. Will Spexarth, Carter Guyer, Caleb Bartel, Easton Schroder, Andrew Johnson, Conner Murphy, Logan Treaster, Blaine Wood. Just to name a few all should be at 10u.

Easton Schroeder did move up but so did his younger brother Brycen.
I think you will see Brycen wrestle in this weight range!

I know the following kids will be 8U again
Onwugbufer Maize 3rd @ 58 last year
Seabolt Gray County 2nd @ 61 last year
Reynolds T Birds 6th @ 61 last year
Bloomfield Indy 6th @ 64 last year

I am sure there will be many others from these brackets that qualified for state last year who will be still 8U this year

ayala, terrill, combstock, lange will be there somewhere. newbies to 8 and under will be fisher and bockover from wichita area. i figure a couple kids from chanute in that area will be good also.

I was not looking for any particlar kids just curious because my son competed with many of these kids last year and just curious who we will be seeing this year. My son son also wrestled at Ottawa last year and Bockman is correct there is a great group of kids coming up from 6U as well so it should be a fun year. With that said bockover I would like to throw my sons name out there Dylan Newton Gray County 1st at Ottawa 64 and 2-2 @ State in 8U 61

Wrestlers from the D2 area will be Beeson & Deshazer at 55. Beeson, Gentzler, Page, & Schroeder at 58. Ayala, Gentzler, Kiser, & Terrill? at 61. Its still early and some of these wrestlers are bouncing around anticipating a mid-season growth. Come late January early Feb. we will know who are the state placer contenders.
