Good Luck to Dylan Pryor Senior at Washburn Rural High School in Topeka, Kansas. Dylan wrestled at #215 before he suffered a severe knee injury two weeks ago. After getting his knee checked and be with his family through the Christmas Holiday. Dylan will undergo surgery on Wednesday Dec.31 at 8 a.m. Stormont-Vail Hospital, Topeka, Kansas. Dylan's father Brady and I coached football together at Topeka West High School in 1979-1985. It is a tough situation for a outstanding young man/student and athlete. My personal thoughts and prayers are with this fine young man. RMG

I first want to thank everyone who has taken the time to read or has responded to Coach Gonzales post. Gonzo you are a good friend and a class act. Second I want to express to everyone that reads this post that during Gonzo's and my time at Topeka West we worked for Frank Walton who always reminded our kids to enjoy every second you are involved in a sport as you never know when the opportunity may be taken away from you. For Dylan it ended short of his dreams and wishes.
Please remind yourself, your wrestler and anyone who is invovled with your kids that it can be gone with a simple turn on the mat. Enjoy practice, every match and the people you are around. Wrestling for us has been the best.
Once again thanks to everyone that has put Dylan in your thoughts and best of luck to all the rest of the season.
Brady Pryor
