WOW
What a strong move for Campus!
Cody,
What is Brandon Rief's record this year?
He just seems ranked a little low!

About Reif...

I'm sure he will have plenty of chances to move up. He got pinned by the #5 seed at the BC tourney, Luke Hirschler. He has beaten Prentice (AUG), Page (AC), Lanning (MAC) and Pate (WIN) and had at least one forfeit win against SS. He went 16-12 last year and went 0-2 at State, getting pinned by Tyler West (MH) who is not ranked at this point, but should be soon enough. As soon as he gets some more quality wins, I'll look closer at him. Newell is a state placer and Sanches beat him at JOCO before taking his first season loss to Ryan Revoir.

miller, harper and i were all too light.
and munsch was sucking too much weight.
we look foward for munsch to be on varsity his junior and senior year.
Alot of our team is dropping a weight class.

Query: Brock Heithouse a junior from Wichita Northwest high school( a heavyweight wrestler, formerly ranked, Number 1 ranked wrestler in class 6A)is evidently now out of the rankings.

In the last posted class 6A rankings, he (Brock Heithouse) has now been replaced by (incredibly) his friend and steller teammate (Trey Page),also a junior from Wichita Northwest, and also a heavyweight, who is now ranked number 2 in class 6A.

When and if Brock Heithouse returns to competition ... how do you rank these two (2) steller heavyweight wrestlers, both, arguably worthy of class 6A and all-class rankings?

Just curious.

I would rank Page #2 and Heithaus #1. If Heithaus returns, I'll rank him. Page has been the HWT for WNW these last few weeks. Whomever ends up varsity gets ranked.

Does the bottom half of the 189 rankings have any criteria over Newell from Blue Valley? He was a state placer at 171 last year

That weight has been interesting. I know that Jarad Sanches has criteria over Newell. Jarad also beat Nate Davis from Liberal, giving him his only loss this year but lost to Brandon Reif from Wichita Campus. Both Newell and Williams lost to Rolston in the 171 bracket at State last year. Tyler West beat Williams on 1/10. You might have a point with a Newell/Williams comparison. Any history there?

Sadly, the Campus High School was built just two years prior to a geography class being offered in the district.

Newell beat Williams this week at Northwest but lost to Revoir and Sanches. Also Newell beat West at state last year pretty handily if i remember right.

That 189 bracket at BVNW shook things up a bit. Williams pinned Revoir and West pinned Williams. Did Newell beat Martens for 5th place in that bracket? I think it finished this way:

1. Sanches
2. West
3. Revoir
4. Sherry
5. Newell
6. Martens
