Can we get an update on the 5A rankings maybe?

you know you are addicted when you look for updates on Christmas day! I did! I am glad others have a life apart from Wrestling.

Wrestlers may practice today and start working off that holiday cheer!

OK!! I did also. Part of getting better is admitting you have a problem. I am not sure I am ready yet!!!

update for 5A anytime soon? Jess is getting the shakes and I am seeing bugs on the wall.

back in the day! I feel like today is the day the bugs will be replaced with names. Hang in there supporting each other always helps.

I tried not to look on New Years Day!

An addiction is defined as doing something over and over expecting a different result.

In the big picture of the world- wars, famines, troubles...it is no big deal who is ranked in 5A kansas wrestling. But still I want...no need the fix.

Could someone please explain how Emporia is still ranked 1st in 5A. I am not seeing it! Maybe someone could explain how the numbers are calculated so that I and other can better understand the rankings. The numbers I see don't show Emporia as 1st. Please HELP!! The numbers just don't match up to the individual rankings.

This is a great sport. It is so close.
BC has 8 ranked and Emporia 7 Head to head BC has 5 ranked higher than Emporia.
So on paper it would look like BC would get the nod for first.

But their are so many intangibles. It may come down to the team that can pull an upset or have an unknown wrestler score from the backside.

Coach Buckbee is sandbagging on his own wrestlers in the individual rankings but he knows he will score points with the Dakins at 103 and 119, Peak at 145, Gaskill at 152, and Lee at 160 so he has his team ranked accurately.

I am predicting that he gets 12 to the state tournament from this regional. I would have them as my number 1 5A team at this time as well.

Chase Sanchez is not being given full respect either. I would have him at 2 or 3 but I would also have Spencer Blew in there in the top 4 as well.
