wow, and I remember when Colby could not win a dual in the NWKL!

What is up with GC where they could not fill a team?

Why was GC open at 112, 119, 171, 189, & 215... Seems a team like GC could fill all the weights, if nothing else why not substitute a JV in place of a missing varsity wrestler?

A REAL disapointment !!!! Especially, since it was Senior Nite and the last chance for the heart of our line-up to wrestle for the last time at home. We also had alot of the former state champs and qualifiers back for a special appreciation ceremony. Some from the 50's and some as far away as Iowa. Would've been nice to have a complete lineup. Wish there were some sort of rule for these situations. I'll be curious to see how many GC sends to regionals.

Probably didn't want to waist completion points with JV wrestlers that might not be ready to wrestle against state champion caliber opponents.

why be worried about JV comp points? And, if you want to wrestle, dont be afraid of the competition-you dont get better just by wrestling the easy guys!

Yeah, but you do have to remember that many of these JV wrestlers are first year wrestlers and throwing them into the fire against somebody like Arnbeger at 171 or Kriss at 215 is not going to be much of a confidence boost.
