112 Daylen Zaldivar from Douglass has beat Solis twice and has gone 1-1 with Howard, why he is not ranked is a mystery to me, and 285 Cody Huffman beat the former #1 in 5A michael starnes in about 1:30, and wrestled very close matches with #3 in 6a Westmoreland, and #2 in 5a Tank Burns.

Zaldivar is ranked 5th, just the wrong rankings used for this because Hein from Hillsboro has now moved down to 6th.

I used the rankings that was updated on KWCA web site as of today. They are different than what Coach Brown posted earlier. I changed them to what Coach Brown has on the talk forum.

At 135 lb, I feel Kyle Scheer, GDPLN-1st, Adam Regnier, Marion-2
Jerry Bennet, Remington-3, Mike Fox, Douglass-4. This will change if Tanner Webber returns from West Elk.

Joe is a great wrestler, although I believe your account of the matches between Meitler are incorrect. Meitler won @ the Hesston tourney against him and Siale won @ the Garden Plain tourney. They did not meet at Circle.

Rankings are one mans opinion and for the parents. It's what is done at the end of the year that counts. Meitler is very good. But has hit a slump the past couple of weeks. Losing 3 times to "Un-ranked" 3A wrestlers. It's anyones bracket at this weight as I see it. It will be settled in Hays who should or should not have been ranked.

Your obviosly don't like Jerry Bennett but there is no need to trash talk him. You should consider keeping your inconsiderate thoughts to yourself and not trash talking other wrestlers. This was a talk forum about the Gardain Plain regional, not whether you liked someone or not.

Who's talking trash on Bennett, and what are they saying. I don't see nothing bad here about Bennett

Here is a list of the wrestlers to lookout for and somewhat of an order of finish for each weight. I could be wrong on some people’s info for qualifying and placing at state. I could also be mistaken on where a few of these kids actually wrestle for since several of these schools are coop teams.

Top Teams: Garden Plain, Hillsboro, Lyons, Douglass

103
Ross Harris, Stafford
Cole Leis, Garden Plain
Glen Blue, Chase County (08 SQ)
Sean West, Eureka
Brenden Lewis, Lyons
112
Daylen Zaldivar, Douglass (08 4A SQ)
Clint Solis, Leon-Bluestem (08 SQ)
Steven Howard, Eureka
Matt Wald, Stafford
119
Ky Biddle, Central-Burden
Riley Soward, Halstead
Robby McClelland, Hillsboro (08 SQ)
Randy Regnier, Marion
Kyle Huntington, West Elk (06 08 SQ)
125
Devin Frye, Eureka (06 SP, 07 SQ, 08 SP)
Jesse Brown, Flinthills (07 SQ, 08 SP)
Kregg Clarke, Lyons
Andy Shipman, Marion (08 SQ)
Steston Deets, Central-Burden
130
Nicholas Mueller, Hillsboro (07, 08 SQ)
Tyler McMichael, Central-Burden
Cody Wildin, Marion (07, 08 SQ)
Jorge Casslano, Lyons
Brandon Ray, Eurkea (07 SP)
Chance Hinkle, West Elk
Jacob Gray, Bluestem (08 SQ)
135
Kyle Scheer, Garden Plain (07 SQ)
Jerry Bennett, Remington (07, 08 SQ)
Adam Regnier, Marion
Matt Yoder, Hillsboro
Mike Fox, Douglass
Cody Roberts, Bluestem
140
Jesse Gantz, Stafford (06 07 SQ, 08 SP)
Aaron Bina, Hillsboro
Nathan Becker, Garden Plain
145
Cole Zolgman, Garden Plain (06 07 SP)
Andrew Shaft, Douglass (4A 07 SQ)
Tyler Neil, Marion (08 SQ)
Kenny Cummings, West Elk (07 SQ)
Toby Jones, Hillsboro
152
Sage Thimmesch, Garden Plain (08 SQ)
Tyler Jones, Hillsboro (07 08 SQ)
Braxton Stonebraker, Lyons
Anthony Blubaugh, Chaparral
160
Nick Thibault, Halstead
Jake Meyer, Stafford
Colt Castlebury, Douglass
Justin Davis, Eureka
Lucas Simmons, West Elk
Andrew Price, Remington
171
Gavin Miller, Lyons
Joe Siale, Chaparral
Sheldon Meitler, Halstead (07 08 SQ)
Jason Zoglman, Garden Plain
Ty Kemp, Flint Hills (08 SQ)
189
Josh Hein, Hillsboro
Alec Wold, Chase County
David McAmis, Douglass
Claflin, Chaparral
Augie Schmidt, Bluestem
215
Gus Allen, West Elk (06 07 SQ, 08 SP)
Daniel Youngers, Garden Plain
Trenton Harshman, Chase County
Josh Voth, Lyons
285
Cody Huffman, Douglass
Devin Sona, Chaparral
Mike Hensley, Lyons
Chris Kane, Sterling
Chance Mildward, Chase County

130 appears to be the toughest weight class with three kids who could place at state this year in Muller, McMichael and Wildin. It also has three returning state qualifiers and a state placer from 2007. 112 will be pretty good with the top three all having close matches this year, likely to see a few wrestlers from this weight class on the state medal stand. There are twenty-four previous state qualifiers and six previous state placers in this regional.

Hey heard there were 2 weights with only 8 and the other had 13 of more. I would guess 103 is one of the brackets with 8 but does anyone know for sure?
