Nice story! That is what wrestling should be all about. Coach, pass on my admiration and encouragement for Nick. I am collecting stories like his to show my 1 yr old who was born with physical challenges.

My son wrestled Nick his Freshamn year at SilverLake. Nick really made an impact on my son, taht if Nick can get out tehre and wrestle with CP, my son has nothing to whine about as a healthy wrestler! Nick, you are an inspiration to all, thank you for your dedication to Wrestlingadn you will go far in life!!!!

great story, reminds ome of years ago when we had a boy on our team with cp. matt wilderman, was a tough young wrestler then, and has grown into a good man. looking back on those days, matt will always be an inspiration, and a good friend. he helped us coach the kids club when he was in college. keep up the hard work nick, you can accomplish anything, congrats on that first win. you are a true champion.

I have watched Nick wrestle through his H.S. career. His courage is inspirational. As a coach it is hard for me to imagine how any wrestler could watch his struggle and dare to complain about their own struggles in the sport of wrestling. I can only hope that the young wrestlers who have witnessed his journey realized how special this young man is. Good luck to you Nick
