If the reason that the question about the over 50 wins in a season possibility was due to the post on Alan Callahan going over 150 wins already this season, I think it is very possible that is true. According to the state tournament records Alan had 43 wins last year. Alan has been very successful in his high school career. If he averaged 43 wins for three years he would have had 129 career wins after last year and he could easily have over 21 so far this year. By the way, Kevin Callahan has the current state career record at 171.

100 wins is not nearly the accomplishment it used to be when dual and pool tournaments did not exist.

Alan has wrestled varsity all 4 years. He currently has 35 or so wins this year putting him at 163 for his career. 8 Shy of his older brother Kevin. With League/Regionals and State left, he should be pretty close to beating or at least tying it!

I think it’s all the more props for Anderson for beating someone that is as good as Bryce Hood for his hundredth win instead of some fish in a dual or opening round of a tournament. When Hood gets his hundredth win I hope it against someone who has a couple of yellar state medals it will mean a little more to him.

100 wins may be more attainable with the dual tournaments and added opportunities for matches, but 100 wins is 100 wins. Congratulations to every wrestler who earns 100, its a great accomplishment and should not be watered down by anyones rational for how it might have been reached. Those LaMar boys are pretty tough, I think Harry earned his 100th old timers tournament win some time ago, that may be the toughest 100 to reach
The country is full of good coaches, what it takes to win is interested athletes

Hopefully Brett will have a state medal this year to go along with those 100 plus wins.

C.J. Napier at the beginning of this season he had 104 wins so he is no where close to 200 - 300 wins in his career. Good Job C.J.
