Can anyone predict the six placers for the 5A 130 pound weight class? Looks like one of the tougher 5A state brackets this year.

I will take a guess:
Championship Finals Justin Rose, Emporia vs. Kash Biddle, Ark City
Consolation Finals Kasey Lien, Salina South vs. Dylan Penka, Bishop Carroll
Fifth Place Josh Umscheid, Andover Central vs. Victor Cruz, Liberal

How many wins did Rose and Penka have at 130 this year?

I believe that Blew has pinned Umscheid twice this year. He will make some noise at state.

Blew has been under the radar all year. He can pin ANYONE at any time. He will be in the hunt and on the stand somewhere in the end.

Penka was at 130 for city league too, correct? Daniel DeShazer from Wichita Heights was at 125 lbs. at the GWAL Tournament. Penka was bumped to 130 lbs.

I believe that Blew has pinned Umscheid twice this year. He will make some noise at state. My pick of Umscheid was sentimental and biased as I coached the young man at WWC. Your and Will's pick of Blew is the same. That is why the young men wrestle the matches, to settle the opinions of curmudgeons like me. I did review the bracket and penciled in a victory for Blew in Round One, a loss to Lien in Round Two, and a loss to Victor Cruz of Liberal in Round Three of the Wrestlebacks. I am reasonably certain some of these picks will be proven wrong. As is often the case, fans in a specific geographic region of the State favor wrestlers from their respective areas.

Don't leave out nick schawger. Lein and Schawger meet in the first round the winner of that one will place but both could place if wrestle good on the back side either one who ever it maybe.
