In theory it seems like a good idea, but like many theories it doesn't often play out well in the real world. Most often when I have seen this happen during a match it comes across as showboating. It seems the wrestler, and more often the coach, is letting the world know that not only can they pin their opponent at any time, but they also have a vast arsenal of moves that everyone should be in awe of.
Having said that, I am guilty of not allowing my son to utilize certain moves during a match if I feel the match will be one sided.
