6A 103 Roger Windham from Derby should take the crown easily.

Anytime a senior is at 103 he should win his weight class, the only time a senior at 103 shouldn't win it is if they get beat by another senior at 103.

Tyler Caldwell, Boaz Beard, Colt Rogers, and Trent Cox should all have a pretty easy time winning their weight divisons.

Ricky, might be the first time I disagree with you, but that is not correct at all! I bet Darren Stroot would argue that with you very strongly. He was a quality wrestler and a Senior at 103 last year who lost at regionals to a freshman and at state to another underclassmen. Your comments take away all he accomplished up to that point, and thats not correct. Cole-Abiline is a senior and has already taken a loss to Kriss from Colby who is just a freshman. What then , 112 should be won by a sophmore and 119 by a Junior? Seems to me that Cokely was just a freshman and won state at 119 last year. Apparently just because it was a weak weight that is predominantly ruled by underclassman??? Guess you would be correct, Slyter, Weller, Sparr werent that good. I recall a wrestler from Colby named Tibbles wrestling at 103 his senior year - took 5th. Seems to me without looking it up, 4 other (possibly 3) seniors placed as well at 103 that year. Some years its so, others its not, your genralization is not correct.

If you've seen how bad the guys who win senior nationals at 103 were you'd know that a senior at 103 winning state is not that big of deal. Most of these seniors (I said most) are at a distinct maturity and often weight advantage over their typically freshmen advisories like in the case of Austin Hood of Louisburg barely weigh 90 lbs soaking wet. It has always been my personal opinion that 112 and up are typically tougher weights than any 103 weight class. Often times the good young 103s turn out be state placers once they make the jump to a higher weight class. I'm sure I'm going to tick a lot of people off by even sayin' any of this, it's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

I think Finney at 285 is a pretty safe bet.

I had never seen him wrestle before until tonight. His PIN in the semi-finals was quite impressive. One second his opponent is in deep on a single leg and has Ryne's leg up around his waist. I thought, "this boy's in trouble (meaning Ryne)'. The next thing I know Ryne does some funky counter/step over thing -- and his opponent is PINNED. Very impressive.

So was Napier. I had never seen him before either.

Living in Junction City most of the wrestling I see is 6a. I was quite impressed with 4a. I will be going back next year to watch them again. Fun, fun, fun!
