Hey everyone! We're a family that isn't new to the sport of wrestling, but is very new to kids & girls wrestling. I know that the Krusaders practice about once a week and that practice moves to different locations. I'm wanting to know what other girls are doing during the week to get better. Are there a lot of girls that wrestle with their local kids club and then attend the girls practices when they can? Also, I was wondering if there are kids that car pool to the Krusader practices that aren't in their area? It would be tough for us to travel the hour to McPherson or Burlinghame on a Sunday for practice, but we also know how important it is to practice, practice, practice.
Any insight would be much appreciated. You can email us @ lilfernando@yahoo.com. Our daughter is incredibly excited about this opportunity!

My daughter practices with our club during the week and then we have been going to the Kansas Krusader practices on Sundays. This Sunday it is at Northwest High School from 12 to 3pm. They are very good practices.

We're looking for a club team for her to practice with in the Wichita area. Any suggestions/recommendations? She's never wrestled before and I know that the folkstyle season is wrapping up, will there continue to be practices for freestyle and greco? Or will there be a break for a while?

Coach Ed has a team at Wichita NW. We practice Monday, Wed and Thursday nights from 6-8:30pm and we will move right into freestyle/greco in April on Tues and Thurs nights from 6-8pm. We already have girls in our room and as you probably know, Coach Ed is the Womens Director for the State. IF you need more info, please give Coach Ed a call at 316-259-5399.
Ms. Jenni
Also you coudl ride with Coach Ed to every Sunday practice...not a problem.
