Long story short, but I opened my mouth when they got to this kid, and I said we were changing his weight, forgetting that I had already changed it in trackwrestling, and that of course triggered the look at the paper, which another guy on the club had in front of him, it was changed to the weight that was on the paper, which was handed in prior to the phone calls regarding moving him up earlier in the week. I am not pushing blame on anyone, I know I scrwed up, but if we used trackwrestling, and just asked if anyone wanted to move prior to the seeding meeting, and we could just say which ones to move, without having to produce a new signup sheet, it would much less confusing. We only entered 29 kids, I can only imagine how confusing it is for those clubs with 40,50 or more to enter, get signups sheets for, get new signup sheets for the ones that want to move, etc. Trust me, with having to organize our club's portion of running the Classic this week and weekend, it was pretty helter skelter.
This post isn't about who screwed this thing up. That was me. It is about getting rid of an unnecessary piece of paperwork.
