Kough did have a great match. I think McClure is tough to and I also think Sanders is one to watch. Heard Sanders had to scratch the classic last week and ended up in an ambulance due to an asthma attack is this true? If so he may still be recovering.

Dont know about Sanders and his asthma. He did win 3 of his 4 matches by falls in sub, but got hammered by McClure of a score of 5 to 0. He will be no match for Kough who took 1st over McClure 6 to 0 if I remember right.

From District 1 South Subdistrict:

Luke Henes, STA placed 1st and Husayn Sultani, STA placed 4th. I apologize I don't know the names of the boys who took 2nd and 3rd.

MCCLURE BEAT KOUGH AT DISTRICT 4-0 UNTILL THE LAST FEW SECONDS OF THE MATCH. THEN MCCLURE STILL WON WITH 4-2. SANDERS ALMOST HAD KOUGH AT DISTRICT, SO THE COMMET ABOUT SANDERS WOULD BE NO MATCH FOR KOUGH IS A JOKE!!!
THESE ARE JUST KIDS. I DONT THINK THAT ANY OF THE KIDS OR THEIR FAMILIES NEEDS TO BE SO COCKY!! ANY ONE CAN WIN OR LOSE. IF THEY LOSE THEY NEED TO BE GOOD SPORTS ABOUT IT AND GO ON WITH THE NEXT MATCH!

Here is what the bracket looks like!

Name Club
Bryce Shoemaker Baldwin
Dylan Eck Brawlers

Alex Kough Scott City
Jalen Karber Team Lightning

Zachary Sanders Hoisington
Kyle Ryan MAC

Jeremiah Jones Pittsburg
Paul Suhr Valley Center

Jacobi Anderson Clay County
Avery Nichols Grant County

Daran Lee Team of Hard Knox
Caleb Gorman Piper

Zack Dent Chaparral Junior
Luke Henes STA

Chance Pitcock Russell
Jaysten McClure Hugoton

I do not know all of these wrestlers but I do know that Shomaker and Suhr wrestled a very close match in the finals at the Classic.

Suhr won at Salina and Shomaker won at the Classic.

Suhr and Lee have split at subs and Districts.

I would have to think that atleast one if not two of these wrestlers will make the finals!

All of these boys are very good wrestlers! It'll be exciting to see who takes it! Gook luck to all of you and everyone else!
