Lane Hamm was a good contender in this class however, Lane is out now for the season as he broke his foot this last thurday. Raymond Gallegos is a good contender. Raymond our hopes and thoughts are with you to take 1st at State. Good Luck

Gallegos took 1st
Burnett-2nd who is over 190lbs was combined in that weight class
Baker-3rd from caney

As for my son, we had appt in kc with specialist, thought we were just going to get casted for his broken foot, boy were we wrong, he had to have surgery that day, and a screw and washer put into his foot, we are looking at about 3 months in a cast. He is in a non walking cast now at least for 6 weeks, depending on how it is healing, he might get to go to a walking cast, and pt after that. it all just depends how it heals.

Yes Galvin is undefeted this year, and beat my son out at salina. Just watch out for his head throw, he uses it every match, every opponent, thats how he beat my son and Gallegos. We never got the oppertunnity to wrestle him agian before my son broke his foot.

I am sorry to hear about your son (Lane also, right?) sounds like he really had a bad break.. I am sure Preston will miss seeing him, He really enjoyed wrestling against him. I hope everthing turns out okay.
Sounds like Gallegos and Galvin are the ones to watch , if we get that far.
