Scott Rieck, head coach at Pittsburg High School, asked me to post the following workshops in Pittsburg on this forum:

• 4-19-09 Akin
• 5-17-09 Akin
• 5-31-09 Devoe
• 7-12-09 West Harding
• 8-02-09 Rieck

Time: 4:30-6:30 pm

Location: PHS New Gym SW side of school

Cost: Akin $15 per athlete. Devoe/Harding/Rieck $5 per athlete

Goals: Get in a drill session with technique majority of the two hrs.

what age group? Is this folkstyle or freestyle?

knowing all these coaches,any time we have an oppurtunity to have them coaching our 4sons we will be there,reguardless the style or cost if at all possible.....

I agree! Had a great time. Very glad to see my son get some mat time again. Now, if I can just get my kid to go all out like he did the last couple minutes yesterday!

Both Zach & Eric will be back in Pittsburg High School's Wrestling Room on Sunday, May 17, 2009 4:30 - 6:30.

The group enjoyed Coach Zach Roberson (153-0 in HS @ Blue Valley NW); 4 time KS State Champion and NCAA title in 2004 @ Iowa State in Ames.

It's great for our Kansas wrestlers to be learning the sport from such a dynamic line-up in Pittsburg's Clinics through the summer.

If you haven't been able to make a session it's not too late. Bring a partner or there's plenty of partners. Open to all ages but definitely would help if you had a year of experience under your belt. Good number of HS athletes in the room as well as 8,10,12's.

Thanks to Coach Scott Rieck (PHS HS coach) for planning and Coach Doug Hitchcock (P.Kids Club) for organizing a great line-up! It couldn't get any better.
