Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion Kids Folkstyle Possible NorthEast Kansas takedown league

We are working on the possibility of having a NEK takedown league. We will use the same philosophy as Doug Vanderlindens Sek League. Practice same days etc. At the end of June traveling to Burlington to compete in a takedown tournment against the Southeast Kansas league. We are looking for interested wrestlers willing to travel to Oskaloosa high school for practices.

I am almost positive that Spencer would be willing if he doesnt have another practice already.

Id like to around 40 kids involved in this.I know there is alot of wrestlers who need takedown work and this would be a good oppurtunity to pick up alot.

Practice will be on tuesday night 6:30- 8. Need alot more interest to make it worthwhile though.

Nick said he would be interested in coming.

Getting some great kids but lets keep the numbers coming in, June 30th in Burlington we will have a tournment.

Practices will start June 2nd. We are still working out details but its all working out.
We would still like more interest from wrestlers 6th grade through 12th grade.
