I am proud to announce on behalf of Jason Valek, Head Coach at Newberry College, that Curtis Chenoweth has signed a National Letter of Intent to wrestle for the NCAA DII team.
Curtis is a 2 time college all american finishing as a National Champion in 2006 in the NAIA before rebounding from injury to take home 7th place honors in the 2008 NCWA Club National tournament while battling injuries. This past season Curtis served as a student assistant at Neosho County Community College.
Newberry College as a team finished the year with a 23-2 record, which included winning the Super Region I Championship and finishing second at NWCA National Duals in Cedar Falls, Iowa and also second at the NCAA Division II National Tournament in Houston, Texas.
