You are 100% right on this and the only way to change it is to let these young refs get some experience, and not jump down there throat. They get all worked up for the rest of the day and after the tournament they start wandering if the few bucks they're making is worth it. Coaches play a big role on refs, intimidation is something coachs take pride in using towards our young refs. so the next time you see an incident like that, go over to the ref and tell him he's doing fine,shake it off ,it gets better,and maybe he'll stick around the next year.
