Looking for the results in these three brackets. Appreciate any help, thanks!

1. Bo Pursel - Tonganoxie
2. Bryce Dakin - Emporia
3. Brent Koehn - Pittsburg
4. Joe Umshied - WWC

In 55 Jace Roy from Paola beat Hood from Louisburg in what I think was the A bracket but I am not positive.

Just because I am the proud mom that I am, I would like to make a correction in the results post above. In the bracket that Pursel and Dakin were in at Topeka, the third and fourth placers were Nemo(sp?) from Ft. Leavenworth and Breeanna Kanak from the Jungle Cats. She's got the black eye to prove that fourth place medal, too!! Just thought that I would amend the post above.

I believe Bo and Dakin were in the "A" bracket. Was your daughter in the "B" bracket?

Nope, Bo Pursel was her first match, which he won 19-4. Are Bo and Bryce both 8 and move up next year, or do they have another year at 8U??

Congratulations to your daughter, but that was Jonathan Blackwell from Bonner your daughter wrestled her first match. You are correct that Bo was listed as her first match but the brackets were switched to put both Bo (Pursel) and Bryce Dakin in the "A" bracket as they were state qualifiers from last year. They did not have time to update the wall brackets until after the tournament started. So if you wrote down the brackets early the names turned out to be incorrect.

I watched your daughter wrestle and she did wrestle very well she is one tough kid. Again, congratulations to her for a great job.

Thanks for that clarification! I was not there, all I know is what they told me and what I saw on her bracket when she got home. Her dad should have watched closer and payed better attn.(never does) :p Anyway, thank you for the compliment. Good luck for the remaining season!
