So we should keep perfectly good buildings open even if it is costing all Kansans more tax money? I am curious how you know Douglass never had 80 students in its junior class, Do you do a census of the number of high school students at this school on a yearly basis? The state is cutting education dollars every year, It is just a matter of time before these schools are consolidated, These kids can get just as good of an education at a consolidated school than at a small community school, isn't that what its all about or is it about about unemployed teachers and empty buildings.By the way the 87% graduation rate doesn't just apply to the junior class it would apply to all of the students in the high school, Your figures may be a little off unless their are only 80 kids in this school.
