You want to be part of Baker University Wrestling history by attending its first competitive wrestling contest a dual with York College on Saturday night 11/07/09 against York College to be followed the next day with its first meet the Dan Harris Wildcat Open starting at 9 AM. As the head wrestling coach at Baker University, I would like to thank the Kansas wrestling community for supporting our program. We have recruited 30 freshman, 5 transfers and 6 wrestlers that were already in attendance. Obviously, we will be extremely young, but look forward to the upcoming season and gaining valuable experience for the future.

Our first wrestling match in the 151 year history of Baker University will be against York College (NE) on Saturday, November 7 @ 7 PM in Mabee Memorial Hall. Mabee Memorial Hall has not hosted an athletic event in over 25 years. We will bring the old building to life for one night. The theme will be “The Resurrection of Mabee Memorial Hall”.... “Old School” meets a “New Tradition”. We will create a UFC type atmosphere and get the building rocking! It will be an exciting night and we hope you will make plans to attend.

The fall clinic is our way of saying thank you and giving back to the wrestling community. We will keep each session simple and emphasize important fundamentals that apply to all levels of wrestling. Also, we are giving out Baker University Wrestling inaugural t-shirts for all that register. Please click attachment for further details.

Sounds like a good time
and pheasant season is a week later this year so I will plan on attending!

Then the next week I will take some long walks out in western kansas and shoot at some upland birds.
