Newberry Hosts Annual Scarlet and Gray Wrestle-offs At the 174 lbs. level, Bryant Blanton (Summerville, S.C) topped Curtis Chenoweth (Clearwater, Kan.) in a thriller, 6-4. Though Chenoweth led most of the match, Blanton came from behind near the end to pull out the victory. Blanton was an All-American in 2009, finishing fourth at 184 lbs. He is also a two-time national qualifier. Chenoweth comes to Newberry after winning a 2006 NAIA National Championship at Newman College.
