Bones. I am totally aware Northwest Kansas Technical College is indeed a technical college. My point is it an advantage for NWKTC not to join the Jayhawk so they can offer more than tuition and books. I'm not saying Goodland will have it easy in regards to recruiting. Actually I think it will be the opposite and they will be at a disadvantage until they can offer programs any other juco does. That being said I know Goodland is heading towards that but it is not going to happen over night. It's going to be a process but Goodland has laid the foundation by adding wrestling and in hiring a great coach. Steve Lampe has been dedicated to coaching and the sport of wrestling in general longer than most of us have been on this earth. I'll agree with you Bones "more is not always better or what people want" but if you can offer an equal education which I mentioned Goodland is working on and a full ride that is better than tuition and books to most athletes.
