It is already that time of the year! Jason Keck and his Team Central gang are hosting an individual tournament and the annual Sunday dual team event. Each year for the past several years we have filled several teams with Kansas wrestlers and utilized wrestlers from other states to put together as many as four teams. The objective is to get you or your wrestler as much mat time as possible. For those of you who have competed or attended, this is some of the BEST competition you will find in the Midwest for youth wrestlers. This year Kansas District 2 is putting together a team. If you are in District 2 contact Doug Eck (doug@matteck.com) to join this team. If your spot is filled then email me and we will find a spot for you. This is a first come/first serve opportunity. The cost is $15 per wrestler and you will get up to five matches in one day! There will be NO remote weigh ins!!

Individuals who are interested in wrestling in this highly competitive event but do not have a team or if a team cannot fill a complete roster, contact Jason Keck to see if he can assist you in either filling a roster spot or placing an individual wrestler one of the dual teams provided they have an opening available.

Wrestlers are required to weigh in wearing a singlet and must make the weight they enter. Once again, NO CHANGES will be made after the entry deadline. It is the responsibility of each club leader to make sure their wrestlers are submitted correctly. A rebracketing fee of $15.00 will be charged for any changes made after the entry deadline and this will be the sole discretion of the tournament director depending upon availability in other brackets. The brackets will not be redrawn.

Please list exact weights for all heavyweight wrestlers. We reserve the right to combine weight classes. This may be done in order to provide the most competitive brackets. Clubs MUST rank their wrestlers and provide accomplishments where applicable: 1) National Placer/State Placer 2) State Qualifier 3) Experienced 4) Novice.
The age cut off is what the wrestler’s age is on January 1, 2010. Headgear is required per Missouri USA Wrestling.
SCHEDULE: Coaches meeting 8:45 a.m.
1st Session includes those wrestlers in the 6 and under, 8 and under and 10 and under age groups.
WRESTLING BEGINS at 9:15AM.
2nd Session includes those wrestlers in the 12 and under and 14 and under age groups.
Wrestling will begin as soon as the 1st session concludes followed by a short warm up period.
BRACKETS: 32 man, 16 man, 8 man, and round robin formats
