MIDWEST SHOWDOWN "Some of the Best Wrestling in the Midwest"

When: January 2, 2010
Where: St. Joseph Civic Arena, St. Joseph, Missouri
Time: 9:00 am
Fee: $25.00 (Limited to the first 800 wrestlers)
Admission: $8.00 adult - $5.00 children 5-12

Weigh-ins: Friday, January 1st from 5:00 to 9:00 pm or
Saturday, January 2 from 6:30 to 7:45am

If you wish to change weight there will be a $25.00 fee to move. You may only move to a different weight bracket if room is available in the bracket.

Awards: 1st through 6th place - Large Custom designed medals will be given in each 16 man or larger bracket. 1st thru 4th in 8 man.

Coaches will be charged admission at door, however hospitality will be provided!

Will you be posting entries & results? Is this a large arena? How many surfaces will you be using?

The entries will be posted after the deadline and results should be posted on track wrestling. I will post them here as well. Also I will be running a total of 10-15 surfaces, depending on the number of entries. The arena is fairly large.

Just a Reminder the Entry deadline is December 27, 2009.

I am excited for this tournament! Its about time we got some bigger tournaments in this area!!

I belive USJOC is the same weekend. I would consider it a "bigger tournament".

I would not attend this tournament for the following reasons:

We have 4 states represented and would like to see more Kansas!!!! Please if you are having any trouble please let me know. I have about 50 entries that will be added after the deadline because they are having problems entering.
