We wanted every one to know that wrestlers DO NOT HAVE TO MAKE WEIGHT AT OUR TOURNAMENT!!! We are using a Madison block format. What this means is your wrestler will weigh in and will be entered in the tournament at the actual weight they are that day. Then the trackwrestling system brackets wrestlers of similar weights. The advantages to this are---

1-wrestlers do not have to worry about weight. Wrestlers eat christmas dinner with your family & yes have dessert.

2-It gives the trackwrestling system more freedom to fill the brackets. There will be less 1st round byes.

3-gives trackwrestling system more freedom to seperate the Skilled wrestlers from the novice wrestlers. (Remember if you come to a open tournament expect to wrestle an open class wrestler. If the track system can seperate the experenced from the novice it will)

We think this will improve every ones experience at our tournament. Expect the same tough competition we have always had with more mat time.

We have about 200 wrestlers entered as of last night. The matrix on track is not showing all of the wrestlers. I have e-mailed the trackwrestling people about the problem. I will try to get it corrected sometime today. People are calling & asking if we are full. We still need 200 wrestlers to be full.

Your tournament sounds like a lot of fun! You know if people are coming in the day after Christmas, they are going to be some serious wrestlers. The level of competition should be pretty high. We are looking forward to seeing you guys in Rossville on Saturday!

Trackwrestling prereg deadline is tonight at 9:00. If any one wants to enter after that call me 785-230-3877. We have alot of tough kids entered already. If your looking for some early season action come on down. Check your wrestlers info after about 10:00pm tonight. If any info is wrong you are welcome to call me christmas day & I will correct it.

How come some wrestlers have already weighed in on Weds. or Thursday for this Saturday tournament?

We are not worried about a few ounces one way or another. Thats why we are doing madison block. PLEASE dont worry about weight.

I could tell you were not worried about the ounces since 19 of your 21 wrestlers are .00

I assume your still using weight to determine the brackets.
Do you have scales or maybe just eyeballing the kids and putting them in groups?

If your coming for a medal I will sell you one they are 3 bucks.

Paying $3 for the medal would probably be another $2.00 profit for Rossville. My mistake thinking it was a tournament and not just a play day.
