Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion College Need Help with old Seaman records

Seaman Wrestling is preparing for our 50th Anniversary next year, and are in the process of gathering records from each year. We have run into a few snags, and we haven't been able to find some records from a few of the years. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Here is what we need:
The events and probable dates follow. The results would have likely appeared in the paper’s next edition. All I need is the placing of the Seaman team in the final standings.

Centennial League Tournament:
1967 - Feb 4th or Feb 11th

1970 - Feb 7th or 14th

1993 - Feb 6th, but probably 13th

1994 - Feb 5th, but probably 12th

State Tournament:
1967 – Seaman competed in the AA classification. The tournament was likely held Feb 24-25.

I'm sure I have the 1993 and 1994 records in my shed. I was planning on organizing it at the end of the week too. I'll get what I have to you. I'm pretty sure 93 was at Salina South and it seems like 94 was Emporia. I probably have all the Capital Journal articles about Seaman Wrestling from those years. I'd be happy to make copies and get them to you.
