Taylor Moeder and Chase Nitcher battled for seven periods, 8.5 minutes for the 135lb title Saturday night in Derby. It was a well wrestled and hard fought match. Jeff Nitcher is looking down and smiling as Chase left it all on the mat and took his loss gracefully even though it was his first in nearly 70 matches! Taylor bumping up from 130 made him an shoe for the OW. Congratulations to Taylor, the Moeders and Coach Medina.
Good luck to both in their quest to repeat as state champs!
