I really want to thank Coach Ed and Jenni Edison (and all others behind the sceens) for all thier hard work organizing the Kansas Krusaders and putting this tournament together in a short amount of time. With people like this running the show, there is no doubt that girls wrestling in Kansas will continue to grow. Thanks.

I have always thought it would be a great thing if we could have women vs. women wrestling just like other sports. I was very pleased to see that someone was starting this movement. I have never met Coach Ed but I have had some communication with him over the last several weeks because he has disagreed with a couple of my posts. He is not the first one to do that. My wife has also disagreed with several of my posts. But one thing that I have realized very clearly in the midst of these disagreements is that Coach Ed works very hard at promoting girls wrestling. It is also clear that he is very dedicated to it and cares very much about it. I agree with S.Belz that Kansas is very lucky to have him and Jennifer promoting girls wrestling in our state.

The last I heard on weighing Saturday for Sunday's girls tournament was no. You can weigh on Sunday from 6:30-7:45 before the novice or from 11:00-12:00 before the girls start.

That is correct Coach Beltz. We will not allow the Saturday weigh in to count for the girls but we will count the Novice weigh in on Sunday am. This is in the best interest of all wrestlers.

If anyone has a particular problem with this please contact us at whywrestling@yahoo.com.

We are really looking forward to the tournament. The turnout is excellent and the brackets have gone together very well. If anyone wishes to be added, please let us know right away by email so we can continue on with the numbering of matches.

See you all Sunday.
