Hey everyone. it's nick figge. i was one of the first to get seriously injured at state. Well for those of you who don't know or are a little fuzzy about the situation. i dislocated my elbow pretty bad. the doctors in topeka told my that i shredded my ligoments and wouldn't be able to wrestle or play any sports for the rest of my life. well i wasn't taking that for an answer so i went in on monday April 1 and i got my cast off and the doctors told me that i am fine and that i have no permanent damage all i have is swelling and a little chipped bone. so in other words i am able to wrwestle again. i just want to say thank you everyone for thier thoughts and prayers. they really helped mr through this. so thank you everyone.
Thanks,
Nick Figge Turner Wrestling

Nick

Great to hear the good news. I know the news you got at the hospital probably hurt worse than the injury. Stay out of trouble and away from the pretty nurses. We will see you at the Salina South Tourney next year.

Nick, That's great news! Follow the Doctor's orders then put as much passion in your rehab as you do your wrestling.

Good News Nick,

I was standing by mat 13 when that happened and it looked pretty nasty to me, but im glad to hear that you are okay, however don't rush back into wrestling too quick, take some time and get healed

I'm glad to hear all is well. I wasn't there when it happened, but when I got the phone call from a parent about the situation, I was bummed.

You have my upmost respect as a wrestler and I'm glad all is well. I coach Jones, one of the kids from your district, and am glad to see you'll be back on the mat for the next season.

hey, could you tell your dad that whatever I said, I really have no clue what it was, was not in disrespect to you. He'll know what I'm talking about.

Oh man how I know how you feel. I was injured last year at state. I was tossed onto my my head and hurt my neck. That ambulance ride is something I don't want to go through. Well just go through your therapy or whatever your doing.

I'm glad to read you are doing better. I'll let Josh know too. We were on deck during that awful sequence(that was me yelling trying to get the officals attention to stop the match) Good luck with thearpy.

figgie...whats new with your arm? i still got a cast and a sling, but my cast is cut so i can work my arm. i am pretty close to getting it up and down all the way. i got the dr. that said you were done for life so hard telling whats going on. him telling you that makes me kind of wonder about him. i'm suppose to have no cast monday, and just a sling. goodluck!
