Ethan Garate - Emporia 6&U 70 is 1-0, down 4-5 against the 3 seed and got an escape & take down with 10 sec. left to get the win. My phone died, so I haven't heard anything else.

Keep it up Kansas.

Brycen has made it to the semis and will wrestle that in about 23 matches . . . He is up against Burnoski out of IL. It will definitely be an earned win . . . We will c what happens. Of course, I am one nervous mom!

That is Brycens first loss this season. Wow. That's why Tulsa is the badest tournament around...

Nate placed 1st 10U HWT. Had three pins w/ total of 72 seconds of mat time for the tournament. The waiting was the worst part for us. 31 +/- hours between 2nd and 3rd match is a looooong time to stay focused and fired up. The 3.5 hour drive home in the dark was also not so fun but at least this time it wasn't in a snowstorm. All part of the experience I suppose. It was worth it.

Congrats to all the KS wrestlers & finishers!!! It is a tough meet and there were lots of upsets across the board. It is an honor to place there at all due to its National draw. Lots of wrestlers came in from really long distances only to go home empty handed. So be proud of what you've accomplished and get ready for the next big thing. Anyone thinking of RENO yet smile
