I have to admit that it was a rough start an hour or so late. It was a mad house trying to get the brackets all down and not being able to finish before the whistle blew, but once it started all went smoothly!

My beef is with the track wrestling, why is it tournaments seem to start later and later all the time? Wasn't track wrestling supposed to make it easier and swifter?? Can sombebody please explain this to a lot of frustrated people???

The reason for most late starts is usually due to changes being made to accommodate wrestlers not making weight, entered in the wrong bracket or taking care of scratches. If morning weigh-ins were eliminated all of those items could be taken care the night before and would make it possible for a tournament to start on time. Another mistake clubs make is not playing with Track Wrestling to make sure they are comfortable using it before a tournament. However, this was not the case with Bishop Carroll; they had the necessary people in place to make it run smoothly.

For the record it was closer to 8 hours, not 10. This was also their first big tournament and considering the size of it, I think they did an awesome job.
