SPORTS: GCHS wrestling to hold dual tonight

The Garden City High School wrestling team is back to competing in a dual this evening. Instead of Castleview, Colo., the Buffs will be facing Rio Rancho, N.M. at 6 p.m. at The Garden.

Rio Rancho, the No. 1-ranked team in 5A in New Mexico and the defending Rocky Welton Invitational champion, was originally scheduled to dual Canyon-Randall from Amarillo, Texas, but due to inclement weather in Texas, Randall — the lone team to beat Garden City this season — will no longer be making the trip north for the Rocky Welton this weekend.

The dual with Rio Rancho for tonight was cancelled due to weather.
