Boy, these posts can get out of hand in a hurry, can't they? I saw a couple of young men yesterday at Silver Lake who had very long hair. Both young men had their hair pulled back and braided. I didn't get to see them wrestle so I don't know what happened when they were on the mat but it looked like they were making every attempt to make their hair length NOT an issue.
There are rules in place for a reason. They should be followed. If ANYONE with long hair chooses not to cover it then they are going to have to accept the consequences that go along with it while wrestling. If it gets caught up and yanked out it is the wrestler who doesn't cover it up's fault... not the wrestler who yanked it out.
I get tired of these pointless... I've got to be right... arguments. (and just for the record... Jesus made many sacrifices - I think he'd wear a covering over his long hair without complaining about it!)
