I was wondering if you can apply for a wrestling card without being affiliated with a club?

Last I heard you can buy a USA wrestling card unaffiliated with a club, but you cannot wrestle the qualifying tournaments for the kids state tournament( sub districts/districts ) without being affiliated with a club. Please correct me if I am wrong.

You are correct. If you wish to purchase a card directly, contact Kathy at kathyjuby@usawks.com.

Although this is permissible, as a general rule I would recommend that you purchase your card thru your club. Your club may have some additional requirements that you will need to cover, or might have other circumstances which make purchasing the card thru them preferable and advantageous to you and to your club.

There are legitimate reasons why you might want to purchase a card directly, but this should be the exception.
