I actually saw a episode of Myth Busters, and it is possible to save the aroma, but a mason jar and a freezer is not gonna get the job done. I believe it had to be frozen at around -235 farenheit. Can be done but costs alot of money. Kind of like freezing a head.
Mythbusters obviously never met my older brother who farted in a mason jar & after giving me chest noogies opened that sucker up & it was not very pleasant.
