The figure-4 head scissors is a technical violation in the neutral position but you were in a pinning combination which should also alleviate this as being considered neutral as you had the other wrestler on his back.
It still looks even more questionable as your foot was not in the crook of your knee but in the calf, the other kids arm was also hooked in there so it makes the referee's call even more questionable.
