With Ruiz dropping to #3, Royal dropping to #3 and Ristau moving, JC took a hit. You agree?

I agree with Ristau leaving it did hurt, but if you remember correctly, we were ranked 4th coming into the season with out him. We have beat both Goddard and DOdge City head up in every weight class but 3 with each team. So while some individuals dont have weak moments, it shouldnt discredit the talent on the team. I understand you have a hard job, im just asking questions. Like why Matt Reed is aove Royal? But in reality it doesnt matter too much. He will see Reed at the end of this month and it will settle that. Oh well...Thank you for your time.

I have seen both Reed and Royal and believe Reed has the edge. I thought Royal was going to 160? He looks a bit undersized at 71, although definitely stronger than last year.

Big props to JC for their very good season so far but...
Excuse me, what did you say about Goddard? Am I missing something here? How do you figure that?

Just wanted to say congats to Tre Humphrey for a nice win over Bo Newport (8-6) wednesday night at the dual with PV and BVN. It was an exciting mach reguardless of the outcome, two tough kids going at it for 6 minutes. good job guys.

Royal is a great kid. He told a friend of mine that he is very under-weight for being a 71 pounder.

And, Reed beat him at the JC tourney. What critera would have Royal have over Reed? Just a discussion.

I want Royal to be the CHAMP this year. ;-)

How is it that Blue valley west is ranked 10th as a team? According to the rankings they only have 1 wrestler ranked! I've been crunching a few numbers and can't seem to figure out how they score any team points with one placer.

How did those numbers crunch when they scored 142 points in the BVNW tourney? They beat STA, GE and many others. You can go 2-2 at state and not place.

Just trying to figure out how your team ranking system works. Blue valley will have 2 in the finals with madel (sp) probably winning it. That seems like it would score more points then a handful of guys advancment points on the back side of the bracket.

Blue Valley scored 62 points in the BVNW tourney. With Pearch they might have scored 90. BVW scored 142 with only one champion at 160.

BVWest will likely have a minimum of 7 kids make it to state and strong possibility to have as many as 10. Out of those, seven will be returning state qualifiers. True they may not have any champions, but there is a good possibility that at least two of those kids will place top six as they will probably win their region and get a 1 seed and depending on the brackets could have some others place. Their team stength the past couple of years lies in their depth.

As of now, Lucas is not eligible for regionals and state. Until he is, I won't rank him.
