We wrestled that kid in the tournament. At first, I was thinking the same as you.....leg cradle.....novice.....how can that be. However, I watched him wrestle a couple of more matches (now this is not intended to disparage the young wrestler, it is meant to defend him), that was his best move. If he got you in that he was scoring....pretty impressive. But, outside of that move he looked like a borderline Novice to me with the rest of his matches. Again, this is not to disparage the kid but I can understand where his coach was coming from when putting him in the Novice.
