Will, I stand corrected about Victor. I guess that tarnishes the win quite a bit. I don't know about the weigh-ins, or what Victor was weighing at the tournament. You are correct about Joey's placing at Monster Match. It is my understanding that there were issues affecting the two matches he lost. He and his coaches decided not to wrestle the last match. It was an unpleasant experience for him, but a life lesson. Additionally, you have to take into account that this was pre-season and Joey only had sporadic conditioning practices prior to the tournament. He did not have any of his wrestling partners available. As you know in Western Kansas you can't just go down the road a few miles to practice with another team for pre-season tournaments. Joey wanted to wrestle at this tournament knowing he was in a tough spot. In the end, it is what it is, 6th Place. He is wrestling at a much higher level now than what he was in pre-season. Apples and oranges. Wow, based on all of this information I guess now I would be happy if he could just keep the match close. Just kidding. We are aware of Ryne's accomplishments. Ryne is extremely skilled and focused! His accomplishments have been posted by many and Kansans are proud of him. Due to the fact that they have not wrestled the only person that can give an unbiased opinion is Cade Blair and I don't think he cares one way or the other. I believe Ryne has wrestled one of Joey's teammates in the past and we can draw some comparisons from that. Thanks for clariying the issues.

Being a new observer for a couple months on this site, I learned one thing. You better have your facts right or the Chief or Will will educate you. Thanks, Chief and Will for slowing down the "puff" that goes in some posts. I enjoy the site and watching the grandkids and others wrestle. Good luck to all at State. Thanks, Matt

I remember in the second grade having arguments on the play ground about who’s dad could beat up who’s dad! Nice to see how we have matured.

I remember in the second grade having arguments on the play ground about who’s dad could beat up who’s dad! Nice to see how we have matured. i've assembled the grievance committee. we have voted. OUR DECISION IS that this dispute shall be settled with........BEST 2 OUT OF 3/NO HOLDS BARRED, FOUR SQUARE (yes this means super bounces, double hits, shoe shiners, and spinners are all LEGAL)- COKELEYS VS DOZIERS, the venue has not yet been decided, we will need to consult with Mr. Campbell from Oakley to find the central most location. the grievance committe has ruled, so shall it be done.

Once again Bush has beat Delp both times they wrestled this year and he beat Mason the one time they wrestled, How is that not criteria over those two? maybe you feel he don't belong on this list, but then common sense says if he don't belong than neither should a couple of kids that lost to him!!

What if I add Marlatt to the list? Where would you put Bush then? We've been here before. Bush beat Delp 8-5. Delp pinned Marlatt. Marlatt pinned Bush. All in the same tournament. Mason has criteria too.

At P-burg, Abilene was without the Morgan brothers. What quality wins does Oliver have?
