Don't worry it won't be nearly as expensive as George Strait and Reba McEntire tickets were this weekend.

I thought paying $7.00 to get into Regionals yesterday was pretty steep.

So how do we find out the facilities surcharge? I know last year we paid $20 a day an adult.

Amen to that. Glad to see that I will save 2 bucks at the state finals. My buddy drives and I buy the tickets.

I paid $4.00 Friday at Desoto and $7.00 Saturday at Turner. Maybe Turner needed a big gate charge (to cover expenses) due to a much smaller crowd.

Good wrestling both days!!

I understand that, Greg, my point is we paid $7 to watch three rounds yesterday and 10 bucks to watch both days at Bobcat. SUBSTANTIALLY more wrestling ......... over 2 days.

That's because the Turner Regional was much tougher than the Bobcat Classic. wink wink

This is the first year for Intrust. You mean the Coliseum? But for those going to the Intrust this year take your debit card and plenty of cash to cover the surcharges and parking!

I received a private email asking that I post the following:

"How much do you pay to go to a movie that last 1 1/2 hours. Figure it out per hour. $7.00 for regionals and $10.00 at state per day. You get to watch around 8 hours of wrestling per day. If you can't afford it don't go. You sure are great wrestling fans! My wife and I are retired and this is the 3rd year that we will be going to Salina. Our only income is social security. We drive 900 miles round trip and pay for gas, food and 3 nights in a motel. We have spent 3 nights in a motel for a state basketball tournament that our granddaughter only got to play 8 minutes. But it was worth it. Richard I'm new at this so please post this on the main forum. If you support your local wrestling team, how much do you pay for a dual?"

I agree! People will pay $18 for a couple to go to a movie that last 2 hours and then add another $12 for drinks and popcorn but you are upset about paying $40 (for a couple over 2 days) for 15-20 hours of a sport you love to watch???? Baffling to me!

Richard, we must always remember that we can't please everybody smile

I've never understood the complaints about concession prices. My saying is, if you cannot afford concessions then you probably can't afford to be there in the first place. This is not like other forms of entertainment where you can't leave and go to your vehicle for a few minutes and get some refreshments anyway.

#1 Bobcat is not paying themselves rent for their facility.
#2 Bobcat, while a very good tournament, is not the state championship tournament.
