I have been looking at undefeated wrestlers, and at 4a 171, I have noticed that Ethan Mumaw is undefeated 31-0, with 29 pins. Even if his competition has not been quite as competitive as others, it looks as though he could be very dangerous. I also have noticed that some of his pins have been ranked wrestlers.
Can anyone shed any light on this guy, and also predict the outcome of him vs. Armstrong, if they were to meet in the finals?

Maus from Tong. and Baird from Pratt on the same side of bracket, Mumaw is the real deal.

I've seen him wrestler several times over the past couple of years, including at least 3 tournaments this year. He is for real. He is extremely strong and aggressive, and uses his strength from the neutral position. He has pinned or put a tech fall on every wrestler I have seen him beat this year.

I haven't seen the Armstrong kid so I couldn't make a prediction on that, but if Ethan gets him on his back, it's probably as good as over.

If Baird and Mumaw meet in the finals it will be a great match. and it should go all 3 periods. The last 2 times these two have fought it out have come down to 1 and 2 point matches. so it will be a great match to watch.

When was the last time Mumaw and Baird wrestled? My son has had several 1 and 2 point matches with Mumaw over the years. They wrestled 3 times this year with Mumaw taking him to the wood shed all 3 times. 9-2 in the first match and the last 2 by fall.

2 years ago in the kids state finals 14 under 155. Mumaw won 2-1. And last year backside semi's 13-11 Mumaw. but Baird is looking alot better this year. all his losses have been by less than 2 except the armstrong match he lost by 3.

I havent heard much about this guy Mumaw but I know for sure that Parker Madl would beat anybody from at the 171 class.

How can you be sure? Both wrestlers are pinning everyone that they wrestle. If they both win state, maybe we could set something up. I might be able to come up with some incentive.

Thats a good point, and if you set that up I would pay to come and watch that. All though I would have my money on Madl.

Ethan you were the most exciting to watch at state this year. Wrestling would be as popular as football if we all had wrestled like you did congrats man.
